The Role of Job Satisfaction as a Mediation on the Effect of Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of organizational commitment on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction in the study of PT Kaneta Indonesia. A high level of commitment can be achieved by a company if the company pays attention to the factors of employee performance and employee satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT Kaneta Indonesia. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. The population used is all employees of the final inspection of PT Kaneta Indonesia. The number of samples obtained by random sampling technique with the Solvin formula was 88 respondents. Data was collected through a google form by filling out an online survey. Analysis of the data used is path analysis (path analysis). Data analysis in this study fully uses the help of the smart PLS software version 3. The results showed that organizational commitment had a significant positive effect on employee performance. The findings from data processing using smart PLS version 3 have proven that all the hypothesized relationships are proven to be supported and positively significant. The results of the study prove that there is a significant positive effect on organizational commitment to employee performance. There is a positive influence between organizational commitment to job satisfaction. There is a positive influence between performance and satisfaction. And there is a positive relationship between commitment to performance through job satisfaction.
