This community-engagement program aimed to describe Market Day as a contextual learning activity for strengthening students’ financial numeracy at MI Alam Al-Azhar Sumberrejo. The activity involved 50 students and 16 accompanying teachers. Evaluation used observation, interviews, documentation, and a financial-numeracy test covering capital calculation, selling-price determination, profit calculation, change calculation, and transaction recording. Correct-response rates were 60%, 55%, 50%, 58%, and 45% before the activity and 85%, 80%, 78%, 88%, and 82% afterwards. Market Day provided an authentic context for applying arithmetic operations, making simple financial decisions, collaborating, and taking responsibility during transactions.
