Based on the decision of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology Number: 29/C/C3/KPT/2026 (2025-2030), it is hereby declared that MALCOM: The Indonesian Journal of Machine Learning and Computer Science has been upgraded from Sinta 4 to Sinta 3, effective from Volume 5, Issue 2, 2025, through to Volume 10, Issue 1, 2030.

Accreditation Policy and Journal Accreditation Information

In response to Letters No. 0200/E5/DT.05.00/2024 dated 26 February 2024 and No. Manual.301/E5/DT.05.02/2024 dated 6 August 2024 regarding the acceptance of Scientific journal accreditation proposals, we hereby inform you that journal proposals that have passed the administration and are in the assessment process will continue the assessment process until the assessment results are announced.

Related to this, we convey that based on the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 9 of 2018 article [Pasal] 7 paragraph [Ayat] (2) reads that in the event that the Ministry has not issued Accreditation based on the re-accreditation application as referred to in paragraph [Ayat] (1), the previous scientific Journal Accreditation results remain valid. Therefore, we convey that journals that have passed the evaluation desk and are in the assessment process, the previous Accreditation Rating is declared valid until the latest accreditation results have been announced.

Starting 1 January 2024, MALCOM: Indonesian Journal of Machine Learning and Computer Science will publish journal issues 4 (four) times a year namely January, April, July and October.

Change in Number of Published Articles

Starting Volume 3 Number 2 October 2023, MALCOM Journal publishes more than 20 articles in each issue number. This applies to subsequent editions. Articles will be published in the pre-release (list of publications in the next issue) 2 months after the previous issue.

Header Changes on Full Paper

MALCOM Journal for Volume 1 Number 1 April 2021 and Volume 1 Number 2 October 2021 in the Full Paper Header uses the name Institute Research and Publication Indonesia (IRPI), but with some changes in the Deed of Institution for Volume 2 Number 1 April 2022 and so on using the Full Paper Header with the name Institut Riset dan Publikasi Indonesia (IRPI).
