Abstract

STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya merupakan Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yang berada dibawah Kementerian Agama. Awalnya Perguruan Tinggi ini hanya ada Program Studi Buddha yaitu Program Studi Pendidikan Keagamaan Buddha, Program Studi Kepenyuluhan Buddha, dan Program Studi Kepanditaan Buddha. Pada tahun 2019 STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya mendirikan Program Studi Umum yaitu Program Studi PGSD, Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi, Program Studi Pariwisata. Secara Geografis, letak kampus STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya kurang strategis karena terletak di pinggiran kota Wonogiri. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan banyak Masyarakat yang tidak mengenal kampus STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya Wonogiri. Ada dua pokok permasalahan yang muncul dari kondisi geografis ini yaitu: 1) Tidak semua Masyarakat mengenal STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya, 2) Sebagian besar Masyarakat mengira bahwa kampus STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya hanya ada Program Studi Agama Buddha. Kondisi ini tentu sangat berpengaruh pada saat penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini melakukan Optimalisasi Website STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya dengan Search Engine Optimization untuk meningkatkan jumlah Mahasiswa Baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah On-page Optimization dan Off-page Optimization. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah Perguruan Tinggi menerapkan Optimalisasi Website dengan Search Engine Optimization, terjadi kenaikan mahasiswa baru sebanyak 75 mahasiswa.
